Is the business loan blues getting you down?
Are you having trouble getting a small business loan? Don't let it bother you! As a matter of fact, count it a blessing that you can't get one. Listen to me! It's a big misconception that when you start a small business you have to take out a loan to do so. Too many people who take out this type of loan end up unhappy with their choice, in deep debt, and losing their business.
Nevertheless, even in the midst of a severe recession, these are great days to start a small business. The opportunities for a small business start-up have never been greater! But you have to be willing for one thing. What's that? You have to be willing to start your business small, without a loan. Actually, you need something else too, it's called patience, which most people, especially Americans, don't seem to have.
For example, you don't really need a business loan to start an Internet business, with practically no money at all. And if you have no money at all? Borrow an old computer from a friend or start building a money making website at the local library. Hey! I know because I've done this. Most libraries, at least right now, have lots of computers available, and will let you use one each day for free. And some, if not most universities have free computer use for the general public. Another example? The greatest loan buster, is starting an eBay business. An eBay business has got to be one of the easiest and least expensive of all small business start-ups. The key with making lots of money on eBay, even during the recession, is having the right product, one that people really want, but once you find your product, watch out! I personally know one family that averages about six thousand dollars per month selling certain vintage collectibles on eBay. Many others are making much more than that! The bottom line? You don't have to learn the hard way. Leave the loan business with the banks! Be patient and willing to start your small business small. Concentrate on finding a small business idea that you can comfortably afford without taking out a loan. If you found this page helpful to you, please share it!
