How to Learn HTML Basics

It's important to Learn HTML basics because it's very helpful in creating a great website. Not that this site has arrived yet, but when it does become a great website one day I'll give lots of thanks to the help of HTML. When I first tried building a website, I ran into difficulties adding certain needed content with the website builder I was using, such as outgoing links, different kinds of graphics, including tables on my web pages, creating lists with bullets,

and there were crazy little glitches in the program that would stop me in my tracks. I searched and searched for what to do. I wondered, how can I fix this? After I learned some HTML codes (I put off learning it because I thought it was too difficult and time consuming to learn) building a web page became much easier. It actually solved at least 95% of the problems I was having with adding content!

What is HTML?

What does HTML stand for? Hyper Text Markup Language. Don't let the name scare you. It's not computer programming. It's easy and anyone can do it. Many website hosts will try to sell you their product (a WYSIWYG website builder) saying that with it you won't need to learn or use any HTML. That's only partially true. Eventually, if you really want to get into expertly building your website, you will really need at least some knowledge of HTML.

Have you ever seen fantastic web pages on eBay.com, ones better than most of the others, and wonder how it was done? They did it with HTML! But don't worry! As I said before, it's not at all that hard. It only took me about three days to learn, and you don't have to learn it all at once, you can learn it a little at a time, that's fine. I'm making a big deal out of this because, it's strange to me now, but people think that learning HTML is hard, but it's not. When you are ready for it, try it and you will see what I mean.
